In these 1h15min classes, we will explore the joy of Hula Hooping: channeling self-expression into creative play.
This course will take you through hoop dance essentials including waist and hip hooping, recovery, stalls, reverses, lifts, passes, fancy footwork, and off-body tricks, while simultaneously developing your own style of hoop flow! This “exercise in disguise” will build your core control, stability and foundation techniques, while burning up calories! At the end of each class, you will learn a hooping sequence to play with for the week. In addition, there will be meditative exploration, leaving you feeling refreshed and confident to tackle your challenges head-on.
No previous hooping experience required. Hoopers of all levels are welcome. Multi-level instruction will be given to returning students. Hoops are available for use and purchase.
